So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:15-16 How do we recognize if we’re growing lukewarm as Christians? Once we recognize it, how do we fix it? Can we even fix it? In today’s video I encourage you to check yourself and come to repentance if you are lukewarm. Today’s topic is on quick obedience vs. slow obedience. Scripture: “And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.” – Mark 1:17-18 When God speaks, how quickly do we respond? Do we act immediately, as Simon and Andrew did? Or do we take our time and put it off until later? If we don’t quickly obey, then we’re not truly even being obedient to God for “slow obedience is NO obedience”. Today’s topic is based on the question “Am I really saved?” Scripture: “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Has the thought ever occurred to you, “Is my salvation in Christ real?” or “Do I really have the Holy Spirit?”. If so, what did your relationship with Jesus look like at the time? Usually those questions pop up when we’re not spending time with God or we’re in sin; even still these thoughts are attacks on our faith in Christ. In this video I encourage you through scripture to know that you are saved if you’ve confessed Jesus, and I break down that it’s not “once saved always saved”.
