So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:15-16 How do we recognize if we’re growing lukewarm as Christians? And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.” – Mark 1:17-18 When God speaks, how quickly do we respond? Do we act immediately, as Simon and Andrew did? Or do we take our time and put it off until later? If we don’t quickly obey, then we’re not truly even being obedient to God for “slow obedience is NO obedience”. Today’s topic is based on the question “Am I really saved?” Scripture: “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Has the thought ever occurred to you, “Is my salvation in Christ real?” or “Do I really have the Holy Spirit?”. If so, what did your relationship with Jesus look like at the time? Usually those questions pop up when we’re not spending time with God or we’re in sin; even still these thoughts are attacks on our faith in Christ.
