There have been a few times when motherhood shook me to my core, and the responsibility of raising children felt like it was too much. Here, I’m sharing my story of what helped me and how I want to encourage others going through a similar experience.

In this episode, we are talking about what we did in our youth that prepared us for a healthy marriage. God’s design for marriage isn’t for it to fix your problems and complete you. The issues you don’t deal with before marriage will creep into your relationship and make it harder to love and submit to one other the way you vowed to, and it’s best not to open up the door to romance until you’re really ready.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve chased after people and things thinking that I was just being loyal and dedicated. After much heartbreak and rejection, God helped me to realize my value and the importance of believing I am accepted by Him and complete in my identity in Christ.
