For the past several years it’s really been on my heart to adopt as well as have biological children. The story of adults who have been in the foster system as well as those who were adopted really resonated with me. I don’t think everyone has to or should adopt, but The Lord has definitely opened up my heart to the idea. Where do you start though? I always thought I would “find my future children” through volunteering, mentoring, or some type of community organization where I would get to know them and God would say “this is the one”. I’ve been meaning to highlight Karla Storey after seeing her fashion ministry on Instagram. Imagine my surprise when I go to her about section and she explains how her heart is for orphans, fostering, and adopting. Additionally, part of her proceeds goes towards helping them to have a better life. When you put your money where you mouth is, great things start to happen. Add Jesus to that, and all possibilities start to rise to the surface. I’m looking forward to seeing her flourish, and I thank God that there are so many out there making a difference.
