Have you ever met someone and knew almost immediately that they were a world changer, and a force that wouldn’t let anyone or anything stand in their way? I felt this way upon my first encounter with Melinda Watts, the founder of G.L.A.M. Camp for Girls. I saw a model call for a photoshoot that was associated with this ministry and the Lord immediately said to submit my photo to them. It’s even interesting how that moment came to be because it was after browsing a few Instagram profiles that led me to media content creator Dr. Peace Amadi who was creative directing the photoshoot along with her friend and fashion blogger Seyi Famuyiwa. I have a special place in my heart for other women God leads to start ministries that focus on building up young ladies because I know they truly understand my calling to do the same. Can you tell we’re obsessed with red this month? Well, it’s only fitting this time of year, and we love how a classic red lip goes with a bare face or a full glam look. What’s your favorite occasion to wear red lipstick to?

Beauty is all around us and our Creator has given us so much inspiration to work with. We all know that true beauty comes from the inside, but on Fashion Fridays we discover the latest fashion and beauty trends that help us to feel beautiful on the outside.

You may like your nails so long that you have to text with your knuckles, or you might be a mother of a rambunctious toddler who needs her nails to stay short. Either way, what color are you going to paint them? Every once in a while, it’s nice to treat yourself to a manicure–whether at home or the salon. Now that we’re in the middle of the holidays, it’s the perfect time to get those digits all dressed up.

As I was scrolling through Instagram, I came across this Christian brand called 139Made. I was already drawn to their beautiful designs on t-shirts and mugs, but when I noticed that the founder Inka Mathew joined in the fight against human trafficking, I knew that I had to feature them and get others to see what they are doing for those who currently cannot help themselves. 10% of each purchase goes to featured anti human trafficking organizations. Beauty is all around us and our Creator has given us so much inspiration to work with. We all know that true beauty comes from the inside, but on Fashion Fridays we discover the latest fashion and beauty trends that help us to feel beautiful on the outside.

How many of you can say you have a circle skirt in your closet? If you don’t: why not? No matter what your body type is or what the weather is like where you are, this is a staple piece you can wear casually or glam up. We’re a fan of the ones with fun prints and bright colors, but a classic solid color will do for even the pickiest fashionista.

I think a few of the best things we can do are: honor God, keep our faith in Him, and have a grateful heart. This is the philosophy behind GLAUDI, and success has a way of following this brand around. I was privileged to meet it’s founder Johana Hernandez a few months ago when she opened up her shop to have a women’s bible study.
