Since my sister Khyra was a kid, I remember her always drawing and working on crafts in her bedroom like it was a business. I can even recall a time when I entered my art into an art show and she requested to submit her work as well. I thought she was joking until we showed up and she asked me where she could display her pieces. Even still, this young woman is serious about her business and it’s evolved into a legitimate art and apparel company that turns heads everywhere it’s seen. Peace Peep Designs is more than a brand, it’s a way of life and a call to action. May we all continue to live in peace. Beauty is all around us and our Creator has given us so much inspiration to work with. We all know that true beauty comes from the inside, but on Fashion Fridays we discover the latest fashion and beauty trends that help us to feel beautiful on the outside.

Whether you’re running errands, running to catch your flight at the airport, or chasing a toddler around the park, you don’t have to sacrifice your style or comfort if you’re into athleisure fashion. We saw last week how men sport this style, now let’s take a look at what women are putting together for those days when they’re on the go.

I was recently hired to model for a local Pasadena shop named April Blooms. The owner’s name is April and her mission is to help women of all shapes, sizes, and colors bloom and feel beautiful. I love an organization with a purpose, and the icing on the cake was finding out that she donates a portion of the shop’s sales to two organizations that support victims of human trafficking both at home in California and abroad through prevention, advocacy, prosecution, and restoration. Every embroidered tote bag and clutch was calling my name, as well as the clothing that has a sophisticated and high quality feel. Men used to have it easier with very limited amounts of fashion items and combinations. Now it’s more common to have guys all across the globe competing for attention in their head-turning threads. Beauty is all around us and our Creator has given us so much inspiration to work with. We all know that true beauty comes from the inside, but on Fashion Fridays we discover the latest fashion and beauty trends that help us to feel beautiful on the outside.

How many of you can say you have a circle skirt in your closet? If you don’t: why not? No matter what your body type is or what the weather is like where you are, this is a staple piece you can wear casually or glam up. We’re a fan of the ones with fun prints and bright colors, but a classic solid color will do for even the pickiest fashionista.

I think a few of the best things we can do are: honor God, keep our faith in Him, and have a grateful heart. This is the philosophy behind GLAUDI, and success has a way of following this brand around. I was privileged to meet it’s founder Johana Hernandez a few months ago when she opened up her shop to have a women’s bible study.
