Sometimes looking your best helps you feel like you can conquer the world. Jessica Shakir is a celebrity makeup artist and hair stylist, and has been in the game for over 18 years. When you look at her, you ask yourself “How? Did she start out when she was 2 years old?” I know, I know. This girl doesn’t look a day over twenty. I’ve known her for over 8 years, and the most beautiful thing about Jessica is her heart for God. For years she’s been encouraging women to stay pure for God until they become a wife, and it’s exciting that she recently walked down the aisle to marry her very own Prince Charming a few short months ago. “Jessica Hoffman Shakir has been working as a Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist in the Fashion and Beauty Industry for over 18 years, and is still as passionate about her work as the day she started. She spent two years working in NYC as the Key Makeup Artist on VH1’s, The Big Morning Buzz with Carrie Keagan. Jessica has traveled the world working on National and International Magazines, Ad Campaigns, Commercials, Fashion Shows, MBFW, and has covered Mercedes Benz NY Fashion Week as a Contributing Beauty Editor for the international magazine, DISFunkshion. Jessica has been a Contributing Beauty Editor for various print publications and online blogs, including her own.”
