I’m an 18 year from Ireland, and recently I got my results for my Leaving Certificate  (basically the exams we take at the end of secondary school that determine where we go to college, kinda like the SATS). I got an A in my English exam!

It’s crazy because it wasn’t me at all. I was very surprised with the result as I didn’t even finish the English paper and I came out of the exam dejected, believing the most I got was between 60 –  70 %. By the Grace of God I got an A. English is THE HARDEST SUBJECT in the Leaving Certificate exams to get an A in (Only 2.9 % of exam takers get an A). Out of the 59, 000 students in the WHOLE COUNTRY to do this exam, only around 1,711 get an A and I WAS ONE OF THEM, all thanks to God.  I was never even aiming for an A in English. I’m still shocked till today. It just goes to show, when God delivers it surpasses our expectations superbly.

Overall I did well in all my exams. I got 589 points in my exam (I’m sorry if that doesn’t make sense) . To put that into perspective, the highest points you can get 625 points. I was only aiming for at best 543 points and that was pushing it.

I just want to thank God for everything. I recently gave my life to Christ  (March) and I have been trying to put Him first in everything I do. I’m excited for the next chapter of my life with Him.
