He Loves Me

Jesus died for me.

He loves me.

My Father which art in Heaven came up with the perfect plan for me to able to abide with Him forever once my days on earth are up.

He loves me.

The Holy Spirit chose to leave His dwelling in Heavenly places and take up residency in me.

He convicts me of sin, He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake, he makes all my paths straight when I acknowledge Him in all my ways, He speaks to me, He lets me know gently when I have lost focus.

He loves me.

Jesus will destroy the option for me to be in a sticky situation if I allow Him to, if I am willing to listen.

He loves me.

He created the heavens and the earth, a place for me to dwell, He went before His disciples to prepare a place in Heaven for us.

He loves me.

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.

He loves me.

Jesus protects me from the demons that prowl the earth, that have been given power over the flesh.

He loves me.

Jesus gave me another opportunity to do what is righteous, to choose Him, to choose love, and to choose godliness.

He loves me.

He loves me.

Oh, how He loves me.

I haven’t met many Christian musicians with such a burden for the lost. Jeevo is one of them. As a humanitarian and minister, music is just one of the many mediums he uses to spread the gospel. He’s been releasing albums consistently since 2008, and his boldness and confidence in the Lord is a major reason to be excited about his upcoming concert happening next month. I’ve been a photographer for about eight years, and one thing I’ve strayed away from is weddings. I know a few wedding photographers, and when I saw Alysha Miller’s work I had to applaud her and give major kudos. A wedding day is not something  you can do over. It doesn’t fit into your creative whim and there is an order and a deadline for when things need to be done. The way Alysha has been able to capture the romance between newlyweds and newly engaged couples through all forms of lighting takes my breath away. The best thing about her inspiration and skill is her acknowledgement that it’s from God himself, and I’m excited to see where God places her next steps. Along with working in the entertainment industry, Jerrell Conner is the Creator of the bible-based comic Revelations: The Prophets and is the Senior Illustrator for Eggizo Entertainment’s Restoration: Judges. I’ve witnessed his deep love for God and spreading the gospel more than anyone else has since we’ve been married for over six years. Some say that the arts is a dark world, but there are so many amazing artists who are taking the industry by storm. Jerrell is one of them, and has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. I met Arielle after hearing her perform spoken word at an event a few months ago. To say I was speechless is an understatement. As she came in for a hug, I commented on how humble, sweet, and approachable she was. She replied “I’m not really familiar with what a “stranger” is. I don’t know what that looks like.” I’ve never heard someone describe themselves that way before, but immediately God told me that the way she was created was to give others a sense of “home”. I agree. Her poetry and personality is comforting and validating at the same time. What she’s embarking on as an artist and truth seeker has already started a movement, and I’m totally on board. Eggizo Entertainment  started off as three friends who were excited about comics, but wished there was more content that was biblically based. Comic enthusiasts will flood a San Diego convention hall every year, but how many of them are walking through the halls of the church? As a tool to bring the gospel to a younger generation, sometimes you have to use your favorite medium to carry the message. In order to aid in God’s plan to minister to every thrill seeker and story lover, a cord of three (Jeroll Rodgers, Frederick Price, and Jerrell Conner) stepped into the world of the resurrected in order to bring you Restoration: Judges. I’ve been blessed to see Sticky Rice blossom from the ground up. You hear about human trafficking in the news almost on a daily basis, and sometimes wonder “How can I help?” There is a plethora of amazing organizations who have made it easier than ever to be involved in the fight to secure freedom for the unfortunate victims.
