I’ve been blessed to see Sticky Rice blossom from the ground up. You hear about human trafficking in the news almost on a daily basis, and sometimes wonder “How can I help?” There is a plethora of amazing organizations who have made it easier than ever to be involved in the fight to secure freedom for the unfortunate victims. My friend Melissa has made a unique platform that offers change on so many levels, and I would be remiss if I didn’t highlight her efforts so that you can join in.

Here’s a little about her in her own words:

“Sticky Rice was created to provide curriculum to children rescued from the sex trade by allowing them to express themselves and let them know how much they are loved and valued. This year, we are gearing up to take in new interns to create textiles, baby clothing and dresses to raise awareness, resources and ultimately stop human trafficking.  I hope to reveal more of my journey here and look forward meeting all the talented and supporting friends along the way.”
