I think my friend Mignonette Bailey has her hands in about a dozen different things, and each one is successfully curated and executed. When she started her company Sole of Brasil, the shopper in me immediately wanted to start purchasing every sandal, flat, and strappy heel she offered. Something that I’m drawn to in a entrepreneur is a heart for putting others first and using their platform to reach people in need. She is no different, and her cause is that with every purchase, Sole of Brasil makes a donation to the Dream Center’s Human Trafficking Program to house and rehabilitate women who have been rescued from traffickers.

Here’s a little about the company in her own words:

“Over a decade ago, our love of Brazilian shoes and all things Brazil began. We knew that we had to share these beauties with women who appreciate on-trend designs and high-quality materials at a smart price point. We proudly and exclusively feature products that have been produced in Brazil.

In the South of Brazil, miles away from the bustling, well-known cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, a long, rich history of leather shoe making thrives. For generations, Brazilian designers and artisans have perfected the art of beautifully crafted women’s shoes. While many in the shoe industry have ditched this sentiment for a faster, cheaper product, we choose to walk the line… very stylishly we might add.

For generations, Brazilian designers and artisans have perfected the art of beautifully crafted women’s shoes. Our products have been delicately produced, expertly imported and are personally shipped to each customer. Now don’t you feel special!”

In Love,

Kytia L’amour
