Promo Tuesdays is where we highlight our brothers and sisters who are moving through ministry and small business while spreading the gospel as the Lord leads. Please support them by checking out their website and social media.

So many will say “The children are our future”, but how many will actually do what it takes to ensure they have a future worth living? I’m proud to share the work that my aunt Mary Conner has been doing lately. She just started a project titled “Campaign 13” and she is asking everyone to support her by purchasing one or more of her books. She has two titles out and is currently working on her third. The aim of these books is to answer some questions that parents or youth may have about the juvenile justice system. Most of us aren’t aware of our rights, and great power comes with the knowledge of understanding the government.

You can purchase her books in three ways:

 Email her at mryconner@yahoo.com.

Call her at 310-908-1685.

Go to Amazon.

The Campaign will end on May 31, 2016. Remember Knowledge is Power.

Here’s a little about her in her own words:

“Mary L. Conner is the youngest of five children born to James and Mary Conner. Hers was a household where formal education and Christian principles were important. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in General Studies from the University of Southern California’s School of Education. She continued her education at the University of Phoenix, where she received two Masters Degrees. One in Management; the other in Business Administration. Ms. Conner has more than 42 years experience working with young people, which includes Los Angeles Air Force Child Development Center, Los Angeles Air Force Youth Center, Compton Unified School District (Special Education Teacher), Los Angeles Unified Schools, Community Harvest Charter School and Los Angeles City Recreation & Parks. Her motto is, “Children desire to be treated with love and respect.””
