Promo Tuesdays is where we highlight our brothers and sisters who are moving through ministry and small business while spreading the gospel as the Lord leads. Please support them by checking out their website and social media.
Dime A Daisiee was founded by my friend Jami not too long ago. Even though her venture into baby clothing is recent, she’s been sewing since early childhood. I met her around the time I moved to Los Angeles in 2010, and I modeled for her retro pinup fashion line when she was still doing wedding and special occasion dresses and accessories. We’ve been friends since then, and I’m so happy to see her business evolve and grow and become more and more successful over time. I’m absolutely in love with her frilly lace rompers for babies as well as the simple, yet classic tiny pants with knee patches. If you’re a parent, know a parent, or are a photographer who specializes or dabbles in child portraits, please visit her website and see if there’s anything you need to “add to cart”.
Here’s a little about her business in her own words:
“My love for sewing began at a very young age watching my grandmother sew on her sewing machine. Since 2009 I have been a seamstress specializing in wedding & special occasion apparel, but that all changed in October of 2014 when I was given the chance to work for one of the best newborn & maternity photographers in California, Amber Cunningham from Sugar Free Photography. Working with Amber as her assistant and seamstress opened a whole new world for me. It ignited a new passion in creating special handmade baby outfits for photographers and mommies. With the love and support of my wonderful husband & family, I had the motivation and courage to transition from wedding & special occasion apparel to baby outfits. I opened my baby Etsy shop in October of 2015 and I couldn’t be happier. I can honestly say, I absolutely love what I do.”
In Love,
