Promo Tuesdays is where we highlight our brothers and sisters who are moving through ministry and small business while spreading the gospel as the Lord leads. Please support them by checking out their website and social media.
Once in a while, my church would have an event called “The Marriage Encounter”. In a way, it was like a group couple’s therapy where married church members would come and ask questions about the ins and outs of intimacy, in-laws, raising children, infidelity, you name it. A few of those times we would have a session with Hasani and Danielle Pettiford of The Couples Academy. I always looked forward to their insight, and am so glad I can follow them online through their website and social media in order to keep getting that objective and educated advice about marriage. Even if you’re not married yet, now might be the best time to discover some great tools that will help you in the future. You may be surprised to know how the habits and relationships you have now will affect your future spouse for good…or for bad. The best part about this for me is that their advice comes from a biblical foundation because my faith is the number one aspect of my world view. I hope you are blessed by their knowledge and the information they freely give. Let me know what you think!
Here’s a little about their business in their own words:
“Couples Academy is a relationship-based organization dedicated to placing couples on the path to fulfillment. Whether you are a new or seasoned couple, in turmoil or relational bliss, we provided the resources, help, support, encouragement and practical advice needed to make a relationship work. If you poll the average couple, you will discover that numerous couples are unhappy, unfulfilled, unappreciated and simply going through the motions of life. They often face the most common struggles in partnership: money, sex, communication, children and in-laws. Many relationships are plagued with temptations, addictions, infidelity, abuse, and divorce. Unfortunately, monogamy has turned into monotony and countless men and women have lost the passion and desire to continue on. Couples Academy was created to become the light and the end of a very dark tunnel.”
