I met Cece during a model fitting a few months ago. It didn’t take long for us to start talking about our love for God and how He’s impacted our careers. She mentioned that she took a leap of faith and left the corporate world to pursue her love for fashion and styling. We traded contact information and I looked up her brand La Isla Vida as soon as I got home. My jaw dropped. She mentioned that this was her first fashion line, and her designs looked as though she’s been confidently doing this for years. That’s the power of trusting in your Creator to work through you. So many opportunities have come up for her since she’s stepped into the spotlight, but the most admirable quality of her success is the fact that she chooses to use her skills to help others. Many of the red carpets she walks have a cause behind them, and she doesn’t pass up an opportunity to help others in their pursuit to make the world a brighter place. You’ll be doing yourself a favor by keeping up with this inspiring woman and seeing what her next plans are.

Here’s a little about her business in her own words:

“Cece is a local Orange County designer inspired by some of the world’s most beautiful beaches, both locally and internationally, as designer of this crystal blue persuasion, Cece’s aspiration to capture island life in her coastal collection, has been succeeded by the fact that she worked with both high-end designers and boutiques which have provided her the hands-on ability and technical know-how in the fashion design industry, to develop her own unique signature brand. Today, Cece’s devotion and appreciation for fashion her whole life, alongside her experience, has given her the opportunity to make waves by sharing this unique resort wear collection to a select group of clientele. Cece’s travels to exotic locations in the Caribbean and South Pacific led her on adventures that have inspired specialty pieces which can be worn on the coastal shores of the California Riviera or around the world. For her, it is more than just designing a piece of clothing, but cultivating a meaningful collection of pieces – all inspired by an exquisite tribute to life, love and friends – designs of inspirations to be shared with all.”
